Our signature clutch, hand made from vintage 'obi': the sash worn with kimono at formal occasions.
Flocks of Golden Tsuru, fly gracefully across this clutch. The crane frequently appears on wedding kimono as it represents hope, longevity and good fortune because of it’s fabled thousand year life span. It also represents fidelity, as cranes are known to mate for life.
This vintage Fukuro Obi was sourced from the Osaka area of Japan. It is approximately 40 years old, and in excellent condition.
